The Magic is ALL in the HANDS

Yesterday was so STRESSFUL for me. First of all, it was Monday. Second of all, I was home alone for a long time. Third of all, I had no one to cuddle with me.

So when Mommy #2 got home she noticed I was a little stressed. It could have been the wild anxious look in my eye or the way I was obsessively LICKING my nose. I don't know. In any case, she tried to talk to me calmly and make sure I was not sick.

As I sat next to her trying my darnedest to CHILL, I felt her hand reach around my ears and start massaging behind them. The she massaged my shoulders. All of the tension just melted away. It was better than a bully stick or a nice spot next to the heater. My Mommy has MAGIC HANDS.

I am currently plotting a way to get more of those wonderful MASSAGES. Maybe I could fake an anxiety attack or two? A few more visits from Licky Lou (touchy as sometimes I am crated when I am too much of a Licky Lou). It's worth the gamble, though.

I wonder how long it would take her to catch on.

I love getting massages! I could handle having a couple a day, but I don't want to sound greedy. If you can figure out a way to get them on a regular basis, please share your secret.

Noodles, you look like you're in heaven! Can we get in line behind you for some magic hands too?

Ahhhh - looks like your momma got the right spot. I love getting a good back massage, too.

I need to hear more about this "Licky Lou" - I do a think that my parents call "Lick-a-deus" (because I started doing it once when they were watching the movie Amadeus).

Noodles, you look incredibly comfy and relaxed. I'd set up an appointment with your mommy twice a week. Tell her it will keep Lou away!
Ps. Great minds think alike!

How did you manage to stay sitting up? You look so relaxed.

Well, she would catch on pretty fast. But I'm betting that seeing the super cute scritchy face you get during a massage, you will get a ton. I LUVS a good massage, and have been known to hog them.

Noodles, like you I don't get why my mommy can't stay home with me all day? She seems to love cuddling with me all day too! Maybe it has to do with all her grumbling about earning money for my fancy dog food and treats. But I NEED that food and treats!

Oh and my mommy insists that I tell you that she loves the way you sit (just like me) and thinks you are an adorable pug (but not as adorable as me of course! Hmph!).

Since I've been stuck in this Cone of Shame for a while, I sometimes get free time with no cone, and Aunt V gives me delicious scratches behind the ears and great massages around my neck and shoulders. It's the best right?

Lots of licks,
