#Chewyinfluencer Canine Christmas Meals Made Easy With I and Love and You

So Molly and I got some special FOOD from CHEWY.COM this month from one of our FAVORITE food vendors, I and Love and You. If you have not tried the products from ILY then you must make it a point to do so. We at Casa de Noodles really really really love everything we have tried (and that is pretty much everything now) - even Sunshine (the picky) Cat loves their products.

There are GOOD reasons why we like ILY: they make their foods with the complete pet in mind. They meals are nutritious, healthy, flavorful and ALL REAL. They offer a whole line of holistic, grain free, premium ingredient foods that are DIVINE!!!! I really love their products and have since the first day I tried them. And according to their Chewy.com BIO, they are founding members of the Pet Industry Sustainability Coalition and employ green practices wherever they can, including a 100% wind powered corporate HQ in Boulder, CO. I and Love and You also donates meals to cats and dogs at shelters across the country. A company that gives to the community is numero uno on my list!

I love them right back.

Okay, so to the review I promised you.

This month's Chewy.com newsletter offerings included the new I and Love and You Stir & Boom Raw Raw Lamb Boom Ba Dinner Grain-Free Dehydrated Dog Food. It is a reformulation of their previous grain-free raw homemade dehydrated food.

Like I said, I love everything they make so I was keen to try this. We have been trying a lot of dehydrated foods lately because it is expensive to always get Molly canned foods (she is tooth challenged). Some are good (The Honest Kitchen) and some are just okay. THAT is why we wanted to try this particular dehydrated food. I kinda knew I would like it. . . BUT WOULD MOLLY?

It arrived SUPER fast like all Chewy.com deliveries do. And we TRIED IT THAT very night.

Mommy read the directions and measured the amount we should have. Then she added the amount of water it called for. This is how it looked before all the water soaked in. It took a little while - not exactly a BOOM there. I was overly anxious to try it as was Molly. We got put on time-out for whining too much. So to me that means it is a little LESS boom than advertised.

water just added

The smell was overwhelming. I could eat it right away, to be totally honest; but Mommy wanted to make sure it was soft enough for Molly. That is why we waited. . . waited . . . and WAITED! It was LONG enough to read the ingredient list - twice

Ingredients
Lamb, Yellow Split Peas, Sweet Potatoes, Carrots, Cabbage, Dried Egg Product, Flaxseeds, Bananas, Tricalcium Phosphate, Dried Kelp, Spinach, Ginger Root, Zinc Sulfate, Vitamin E supplement, Ferrous Fumarate, Copper Sulfate, d Calcium Pantothenate, Riboflavin, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Folic Acid.

Take note - I see all real real FOOD listed for the first TEN ingredients. After that are fancy names for naturally occurring minerals and vitamins.

In this picture, you can see the CHUNKS of lamb are softer. It is, after all, real meat.

Once we got to CHOWING DOWN it was pretty academic. . . and FAST. I think I broke my own record for WOLFING down my food. I had to STEP away and belch when I was done.

It is THAT good. WOLF-IT-DOWN-GOOD.

And good for you. ILY Stir and Boom is formulated to be easy on Canine tummies, is complete and balanced nutiotion, and is minimally processed right here in the USA. And for those of you with diet restrictions, it is made for sensitive digestion, is grain-free, and has no corn, wheat, or soy.

What more can you ask for a LUSCIOUS HEALTHY  DINNER? Order now and it might just make it to your house in time for Christmas dinner - or at least for New Year's Eve!

We at Casa de Noodles are gonna have to come up with NEW AWARDS because we are handing out so many to Chewy.com products. But they all DESERVE it so...... we award I and Love and You a

for  Raw Raw Lamb Boom Ba Dinner Grain-Free Dehydrated Dog Food.

**We received free of charge from Chewy.com a small bag of this product so we could try it and develop and opinion about it. It worked. We have an opinion which we freely share on this blog. We are never paid and all opinions and observations in this post belong to me, Noodles the Pug (and sometimes Molly and Sunshine)

The LINE at the Post Office Was LOOOOONG!

Have you been to the POST OFFICE lately? It is INSANE! I HAD to go and I was totally unprepared for how long the line would be.

  • Granted it is really late to be sending out gifts
  • Granted I procrastinated
  • Granted it is Christmas time - the busiest time of year
  • BUT it is Tuesday - so what gives?
Well, I had no choice. Mommy and me crawled into Pugsley, our car, and headed out. The line wrapped out the door and down the street.

So I waited and waited and waited and. . . you get the picture. And to make matters worse, then we had to WHIP out the WALLET and PAY for standing in that line.

But the cards are finally on their way, and
the packages should mostly arrive before Christmas, and
I am exhausted but finally home

It's Raining Christmas CHORES

I am such a BUSY Christmas PUG. I have so so much to do in the next TEN days! TEN DAYS?!?!?!
You see, when you volunteer to be one of Santa's Elves, well this is IT! D-Day (or C-Day as we call it).

Here is what I have on my TODO list today. And keep in mind, this is just a smidgen of what needs to be done.

  1. Clean and decorate the rooms downstairs that have NOT yet been decorated. They kind of have that LIVED IN vibe and that is NOT what we want when guests arrive on Dec 24
  2. RE-clean the one room that IS decorated. It, too, has a lived in feel
  3. Make a list for gift-giving
  4. Check it TWICE! Once will just not do
  5. Plan our menu for Christmas Eve dinner. I will be hosting Lulu, Tiffy, and, hopefully, Fezzik. Who knows, maybe a few other FURiends, too? This is something that cannot be too casually approached as we all have diet restrictions and FAVORITE foods
  6. STOP hyper-ventilating
  7. Scoop POOP. The yard gets a once over weekly, IF Mommy and I are on our game. But we MOST ASSUREDLY pick up before guests
  8. Make Christmas COOKIES for Santa, Reindeer Cnacks for Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Blitzen, Comet, Cupid, Donner (Donder) and Vixen AND RUDOLPH!
  9. WRAP presents. This needs to be done by Dec 20 meaning I have only a few days to do that
  10. Make sure my Christmas jammies are clean and ready to DON on Christmas EVE

As you can tell, I am gonna be a busy busy ELF. Hmmmm. Maybe I should resign my ELF COMMISSION and sign on as a reindeer? Then I only have to work on Christmas EVE and I can delegate all this other stuff to Molly, the NEW Christmas Elf (by order of Noodles).

Whatdya think about calling myself
Noodles the PUG-nosed Reindeer?

Tell Santa I am Ready to Ride SHOTGUN in the Sleigh

I keep getting a busy signal when I call the NORTH POLE. I know this time of year is especially busy there but I am desperate to get through. You see, I want to offer my assistance to SANTA on Christmas Eve. If you recall, Gussie from The Three Little Pugs, helped Santa a few years back and had a lot of fun.

I want to do the same.

I have the right hat.

So if you are talking to Santa, please let him know I am READY, willing and able.

THANK YOU.

Spreading Christmas Cheer at University During Finals

I loves loves loves to visit my Mommy #1 on her COLLEGE campus. It is only 7.5 miles from my house, Casa de Noodles, but sometimes it seems like she is soooooo far away. It's a little easier for me to visit now because she is no longer in the dorm. It is still campus housing, but it is called a suite and is really a small 2 bedroom apartment. So once in a while I go there and spend a couple of nights in her suite.

She has the bestest roommate, Roomie I, and I love seeing her as well. So anydog, last week was finals so Mommy #1 really needed some MENTAL relief and that happens to be my SPECIALTY. I was happy to do my civic duty.

This is me in the suite in front of their Christmas Tree. It is considerably SMALLER than I am used to. Still kinda CUTE, don't you think? Mommy calls it a Charlie Brown Christmas Tree. I have no idea why but the name does kinda suit it.

This is my traveling bed. Isn't it the best? I love it because I can be safely and comfortably toted around inside of it and then I have the comfiest BED for when I am at my destination. It is always packed and ready to go with my blankie, lambie, water and dinner bowls, and lotsa poop bags.

Mommy, Roomie I and I went to the LAZY DOG cafe in Cupertino. That was fun. They always give dogs treats and water. One can even order a bowl of food for your furbaby. I like it there A LOT!
After we went to a new ice cream place. I did not get any ice cream but I did get a LOT of attention and for me that is as good as ice cream.

I'm lying. I would have ALSO liked ice cream.

We visited a lot of friends (and one FURiend) in the Villas. But mostly I spent time with Mommy #1.
And THAT is the best time of ALL!

There's Something Different About Sunshine the Cat

I can't put my PAW on it, but when I walked by Sunshine the Cat I thought something was off.
She was perched WAY up high in her new cat tree. This is her way way way up high. I was on a stool taking the picture so that is why I am almost eye level with her. Normally it looks like this to me

So any hooooo - back on topic. So I stared and stared and stared at Sunshine to the point where she got really MIFFED at me. But I had to solve this mystery.

Finally I just asked her what she had DONE to her TAIL because instead of GOLDEN stripes, now she had BLACK and GRAY stripes! "Why, NOTHING," she purred at me. "My tail is perfectly GOLDEN and perfectly NORMAL."

Well, no, I said. It really isn't normal at all. But instead of looking, she stood up and stretched and announced "I'm going to my SUNNY window upstairs where I can get a PEACEFUL nap!"

And she jumped down. As she walked away, I could see that she had told the truth and her tail was indeed a cascade of lovely gold and cream stripes. Bu. .? Wha . . .? I don . . !

And THAT is when I looked up and saw this

It was Rocky Raccoon my stuffless TOY imitating Sunshine's tail.

Whew! I am glad that mystery is solved.

#Chewyinfluencer . . . . . . . . . . Making My Home GOODER (?) With Chewy.com

You all KNOW I go to Chewy.com for all of my nutrition needs, right? You'd kinda have to be in a box to not know that. They are a great source for all of the top foods and treats. I admit, they spoil me with their variety, speedy delivery and world-class customer service. I am happy every day that I DISCOVERED them.

But one thing about Chewy.com that I forgot is how much they have expanded their online store. Now they carry HOME GOODS! What are HOME GOODS? Well, those are the little things that decorate your home and make it uniquely YOU.  I had NO IDEA!!!

Home Goods

So when Chewy.com asked me to review SOMETHING from their home goods products, I was kinda flummoxed. What were they "talking" about? Isn't Chewy.com all about the FOOD? I HAD to INVESTIGATE!

So I clicked the link and found out that Chewy.com actually carries A LOT of neat things for the home all with PET THEMES (of course, duh).

It was really really hard for me to choose something because everything looks so fun and festive (I looked in the holiday section). Finally I chose this https://www.chewy.com/malden-international-designs-furry/dp/173991

Isn't it super? It arrived in a couple of short days and I was pretty excited when the Chewy.com box was opened

I THINK it's FOOD

Oh, that's right - it is a HOME GOOD

Mommy! I know JUST the RIGHT photo to put
where these STRANGERS are!
It is hard to tell the craftsmanship in a photo but I am here to tell you the craftmanship is superb. And the frame comes with a jute rope to hang the frame OR you can use the easel back to set it on a table. I tried both to see which I liked best.

I saw this set up in a picture somewhere. . .

Doesn't my treat corner look FESTIVE now?

I like it BOTH ways but the easel won out. Aunt B is in charge of TREE decoration and the frame does not fit in with her theme

But I like it where it is because it is
  1. In the KITCHEN, my favorite room in the house
  2. Near MY treats
  3. In plain view
I am really really pleased with this choice of HOME GOODS. Take a look for yourself. I bet you'll find all manner of goodies to decorate your SPACE!

** I received this product free of charge from chewy.com in exchange for my honest opinion. I am all about honesty. And furthermore, I was not nor ever am paid for sharing this opinion. Every last opinion is my very own.
