That Molly. It does not HELP that she is cute, cuddly and portable. She also likes to play and hop around. But I think we all know she simply IS NOT cuter than me - just younger and newer.
Am I pouting a little???? You know it!
Here is was, Christmas Eve and all the 'rents were home, all the other FAMILY was over, and all the friends were likewise over. I was clean and excitedly awaiting all the adoration, cuddles and treats that I KNEW were coming my way.
After an hour or so NO ONE gave me more than a cursory pat on the head. I could not figure out what was going on. . . . that was when I happened to glance over to Uncle W and saw MOLLY on his lap being all cuddly and receiving treats from him.
I was crushed. Where was my glory? Where was my love?
Where is my MOMMY?
Mommy did eventually come to sooth me over and remind everyone what a wonderful PUG I am.

It's tough to compete with cute, Noodles. It's also tough to compete with youth. But how on earth could anyone compete with PUG?!?
We agree with Flea! How do you compete with a PUG? We are the cutest dogs on the planet!

We're all pugs but sometimes one of us (usually Whitney) gets more love and attention than the rest of us!?! We're thinking it's because she is still new and meeting people that we already know! At least we hope that is what is going on .....

Plan # 1. Sneak a Pee on the floor... and put the BLAME on Molly.

Oh Noodles. It's so hard being around the young ones. They get SO much attention. But everyone knows that you're SO much cuter AND nicer than that ol' Molly. It'll just take everyone a little longer to see through her tricks.
I hear ya Noodles. Whenever we go out, all I get is "Oh She has the most huge eyes I've ever seen", while people go nutso over Coco. Hmpf! I'm a pretty Bostie too, right? I say you have to watch the young ones!

Ex-sqeeze us???? NOTHING, NO-THING, is cuter and better than a Pug. People were just being nice to Molly 'cause she's a baby and they didn't want her to feel badly.

Pft! Molly is super cute, but she's just the new toy right now! Just give it a couple of visits before your well-deserved adoration returns!! I totally think that you can compete with her, especially since you have age and intelligence on your side!!
Noodles, this is a sad turn of events...I think it's time you do like that old movie North where the kid interviewed new parents! BOL! Although, you could milk the hurt feelings for all it's worth and get a lot of toys and noms...yep, go with that plan!
Noodles, always remember, that no matter how much attention Molly receives, you will always be 3 years ahead of her in the attention department. Pugs rule!
