Today the weather has cooled down considerably. A good 20 degrees from last Monday. Mommy has on long pants AND shoes rather than the shorts and flip flops she has been wearing all Summer. Today is slightly overcast (high clouds, not my beloved fog) and humid. It might even rain a little up north WHERE they really need it.
Over the weekend a couple of fires started up and have raged out of control. It is scary scary scary. Yes, I live in Suburbia. Yes, the dry grassy areas are up the hill from me - a good ways from me. But that doesn't mean a thing once a fire gets raging. One town in Napa suffered 138 lost home and one death. This was in less that 2 days. Rain will help fire crews get those fired under control. I have never prayed for rain more in MY LIFE than I have this year.
Anyways. . .
Mommy is working from home today. So as far as Mondays go, this one really is COOL. So bring it on MONDAY. I can handle it.

Cool weather is good. Those fires are terrible. We've been seeing them on the news. We like the way you handle Mondays....
