BBQ'd EVERYthing

It was really hot in the South Bay all weekend. So hot that my trips outside were infrequent and short, except in the early morning and late night when it was breezy and a little cooler.

When it came time for meal preparation, no one wanted to stand in the kitchen and cook a meal. Even making a salad was tiring and hot work. So of course, it was time to whip out the BBQ. Well, actually this time we used the firepit.

Roasted HOT DOGS (by the way, I was ASSURED by my Mommy that NO DOG is used in the preparation of HOT DOGS. . . oh, and in our house only SOY BEANS were made to suffer) and VEGGIES are the BEST ever. I also had some WALLY MELON and a few green beans.

Then it was time for dessert . . . OMP! My mouth is watering just remembering it! We roasted MARSHMALLOWS over the waning fire! That was the best ever.

It turned out to be the best meal ever and I can't wait for the next HOT weekend.

Noodles, I just love Wally Melon!!! Come to think of it, I like everything you had except they would all be real meat hot dogs and BBQ chips instead of veggies! Hee Hee

Oh Noo-Noo! The photo is ADORABLE!!!!!!!! I love it! I wish I could have come to your house and made some S'mores! It has always worried me about hot dogs with real dog in them, glad to see you put the record straight on that one thanks to your Momma! Love, Licks and Hugs from Frank xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hey Noods! What exactly is a "Wally Melon"? As you know, I'm a connoisseur of finer edibles and this sounds like one I need to add to my bucket list. Those marshmallows look AMAZING - they are almost as big as your head! Did you get to try some?!

Thank you for the shout-out yesterday. I'm feeling good but this whole routine my 'rents have planned for me going forward sounds pretty hairy - although there is much potential for treats!

I also wanted to let you know the anti-yeasty stuff:

1. Fluconazole pill (100mg) - a prescription is req'd for this.
2. Malaseb shampoo - you can get this stuff online
3. Mal-a-ket wipes - also available online. My 'rents are going to try these on my face-flap and paws.
4. Conzol/Miconozole ear drops - prescrip needed for this one, too.

We'll probably do a post with the deets for other yeasty pugs out there. :)

-Love,
Sid.
