Fun with Gingerbread

This is a panorama shot of the same house

Many asked if I stood under the tables during Gingerbread House construction and decoration. The answer is YES, I did. I scored a couple of pieces of candy - mostly Smarties. It wasn't my BEST score ever but was fun nonetheless. I also managed to NOT let Molly or Pablo have any. That was the best part - I had bragging rights for the rest of the day.

Here is a video panorama of the house Mommy #2 did. Pretty cool, huh?

Now we are preparing for THE BIG EVENT of the YEAR - Christmas Eve at our house. We invite all the family and some friends to come over for a big FEAST. The house smells SOOOOOO good and is also filled with so much laughter! I love it so much. In the meantime, Molly and I find ourselves penned up a lot while the humans are cooking and cleaning and cooking some more. It is a hectic time of year.

What do you do for the Holidays? Any special traditions?

Relaxing with the Lil' One. Yes, I HAD to wear my
CONE OF SHAME because I was
scratching my ear until it was RED!!!

Now that is an impressive house Noodles! Good job on scoring some candy too...yum!! ;-) My Domeek can't even make them stand up, let alone decorate them...hehehe! Hm, this is my very first Christmas, so I'm excited to experience all these new and awesome traditions!

What pawsome gingerbread houses! Mom had a baking day on Sunday with two of the Granddaughters. We did manage to score a few goodies that dropped on the floor. We do the same thing on Christmas Eve. The kids and grandkids all come over for a big buffet of food. This will be my first, I can't wait. But Hazel tells me they usually have to go in the bedroom once the eating commences, what kind of fun is that???

Wesa have FLASHLIGHT CHRISTMAS on Christmas eve.
The mommies hide all the presents and turn out the lights and everybody goes hunting for their presents. We help and sometimes somebody forgets and leaves a plate on the chair, so we help wash dishes, too. Have fun, Noodles and Molly.

That gingerbread house looks cool, Noodles, but I bet it TASTES even better. Hopefully they'll place it on a low shelf or something. :)

I also hope that cone gets removed quickly - I hate those things. I've got something going on with one of my ears, too. I heard talk of a possible vet visit (yuck). Hope your ear is better soon!

Sid.

That's a great looking house. Too bad gingerbread houses aren't made out of meat, huh?
