Thursday Throwing It Back for a Happy Thing

I was 12 weeks old when my Mommys adopted me. I was the size of a football and a little under 9 pounds. That hardly seems possible now, huh?

This sock monkey (Socky) was my first toy and I guess you can tell it was my favorite. I could not go anywhere without it. I slept with Socky, played with Socky, stared at Socky. . . you get the picture. One day Socky was no more. It was almost a year later and his squeaker was gone as was most of his stuffing. When his second arm came off, well it was time to retire him to the toy farm. I missed him a lot. I looked for him for a very very long time.

To make me feel better, Mommy bought me a larger Sock Monkey toy which I still have. But it was not the same as Socky. I missed him SO.

That is until Mommy got me the ultimate SOCK MONKEY -

I have seen these before and think they are sooo cute BUT BECAUSE I live with to heathens who PEE on dog beds, Mom says I , Stella Rose can never have anything nice. Even my first toy, Baby Bear, had to be put away cos they are mean to her.
You are so lucky.
