Summer is Fading Fast

Summer is Fading fast
Fall is upon us at last
Gone is the Gold of the grasses in the field
Wind whipped leaves in piles yield
A hint of Winter's barren branches

Summer's last Breath is nigh
Warm light breezes like a sigh
The Dawn's late rise a harbinger
Just a taste of coolness lingers
Through the morning

When mum and I go out in the early morning, there is enuf of a nip in the air that mum has to wear a lightweight jacket/hoodie. We BOTH LUV it!!

Howdy Noodles. Lovely poem little mate. We are enjoying Spring here in Oz and it is so wonderful after a long cold winter. At least you get to see the pretty colours of the Autumn trees. Take care.
No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
