An Ode to . . . Oh, I Guess Spring?

So the other day I was saying to my HUmom. . . 

Roses are Red, DUH
Brown is the MUD
Strawberries are Red, too
But nothing is BLUE

The SKY has been Gray
For many many a DAY
And I am oh so RIPE
To see the SUN shine BRIGHT
