My life is a little like a MONOPOLY game. Really! Think about it.  For example when I

• Look in the mirror, I am a cute small dog - LIKE THE GAME TOKEN.

• TAKE A CHANCE or a little too sassy for my own good - I GO DIRECTLY TO JAIL

• Dive into the COMMUNITY CHEST (garden) and  earn - FREE PASS

• Go Bye Bye - TAKE A RIDE ON THE . . . 

My personal favorite place to land in the GAME is FREE PARKING. That is what this whole weekend was all about - free PARKing every day. I saw ducks, geese, doves, doggies of all manner, kids, and more at the park
We went once . . . we went twice . . . NO WE WENT THREE TIMES to the park near my house.
I feel like I hit the jackpot and someone just landed on my PARK PLACE and BOARDWALK with HOTELS.

I cannot stand it! Friday is so full of possibilities. We have out of town guests coming and lots of fun planned. Plus it is a 3 day weekend!!!! Could there be walks and treats in my Friday FUTURE? I am pretty sure of it.

Happiness is a WARM walk

Hi from my walk with Auntie B. We really only walked around her neighborhood - but oh what a nice neighborhood she has.
I even took time out to explore my inner pup.

Hey Noodles, Mommy said, Wanna go Bye-Bye?
YES, I said, without asking Why
Mommy grabbed my leash and "dogbone" harness
I circled and circled until she made me rest
Then off we went in the car
It seemed like we traveled very far
We drove to a big white house and parked
OH! HEY! This is Auntie B's, I barked

Out quickly I jumped leaving Mommy behind
Up to the door, around and around Auntie B I wind
I am so excited I can hardly sit
And suddenly I see it
Mommy brought in my crate, and then my bowls
My Snoopy bed and some chewy rolls

"Where are you going" I asked her all teary eyed
Off to New Mexico Mommy sighed
But I'll only be gone a bit more than a day
Here with Auntie B you're gonna stay
You'll have lots of fun and lots of walks
And when I get back you and I will have talks
About what we did and what we have seen
How much I missed you and how much you missed me

News Blues

So I woke up a while ago and decided to play CATCH with the news from Blogville.
I gotta go back to BED now cuz I am all LEAKY.
See, my pal Josie from Those Elgin Pugs crossed over the Rainbow Bridge while I was gone to BOOT CAMP.
I can't face the day and am going back to SLEEP.
I will miss you always JOSIE and the smile you gave to me and Mommy EVERYDAY.

Too POOPED to Party

Hi. I am home from Auntie B's Boot Camp. I am exhausted. The PEEPS also got home last night from their out of state adventures. I am too tired to even lift my head. YAWN. Going back to bed and will update everyone TOMORROW!
YAWN.

Adventurous Anticipation

 Oh dog, oh dog, oh dog!!! I have so much to do I can hardly concentrate on ANYTHING.All my PEEPS are going outta town this weekend for a GRADUATION! This pup is going to my most FAVORITIST place in the WHOLE WORLD - Auntie B's house.

Oh DOG! It is gonna be so much fun with walks and play dates! And if you remember from Thanksgiving that Auntie B runs a FIRST RATE boot camp complete with TWO daily walks and who knows HOW MANY hikes, yoga (dogya for all you Blogvilleans) sessions and games of fetch/returns! I cannot WAIT!!!!!

First I gotta PACK

Survival Summation

I have been pondering Puglet's question from yesterday regarding the end of the WORLD. It is a disturbing thought and I certainly don't wanna be all smug and everything thinking "P'SHAAAAW! It AIN'T gonna happen!" Because if it does - then what?

But more than that, what does the end of the WORLD really mean to me? A dog. . .  NO . . . a PUG!

An end to MY WORLD would mean -

• No More CUDDLES
• No More TEASING Sunshine the Cat
• No More walks and trips BYE BYE
• No More SUNSHINE-y days barking with my neighborhood pals
• No More - TREATS! No More FOOD! No More FOOD! No More FOOD!

AAAARRRRRRGHHHHHH!

Scared myself there.

Honestly, though. My WORLD begins and ends with TWO things: CUDDLES with my MOMMYS and FOOD.

I cannot imagine surviving without either.

Dreamscape Escapade

So the other day I was dreaming
I was dreaming and scheming
And I was relaxing and chillaxing
Through the window a smell wafting
It smelled of sun and a lot of fun
Flowers, food and more than one
My nose was twitching wildly, madly
My muzzle quivered ever so grandly
Before I knew it I was a-runnin'
My legs lifted, my heart a thumpin'
I scampered and dashed here
O'er lawns and gravel I went there
Sounds raced through my ears
One lifted and wiggled so's I could hears
When all of a sudden my eyes opened up
I think the time had come to sup
I groggily gathered myself, nose still a-twitchin'
out of my room and into the kitchen
I looked around - emptier than it had been seemin'
Huh, I thought. I musta been dreamin'

In Hiding

SHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Don't tell ANYONE where I am. I am in hiding for doing something so silly, so HEINOUS that I must not show my face until the COAST IS CLEAR.

I must confess that at the time I THOUGHT what I was doing was right.

I THOUGHT what I was doing would win me PRAISE and NOT punishment.

But I was apparently wrong.

I know you are all wondering what could have been so EVIL as to send someone as CUTE as ME into hiding?

Well . . . uh . . . I am almost embarrassed to tell you . .  . I . .  uh . . . DID THE DISHES!

There, I said it. I feel a little better getting it out in the open like that.

Once I did it, I trotted over to Mommy so happy and smiling! I told her "Look, Mommy! I HELPED you!"

How was I to know that plate of food on the coffee table was MOMMY'S DINNER?

She was sooooooo mad . . . let me know when La Tormenta blows over.

Oh and Happy Cinco de Mayo which is only relevant as a dia de celebracion but a very very good reason to Eat a TAMALE!

ONE-der-ous

Something absolutely wonderful is happening today.

 What is it you ask?

• Well, the sun is shining.
• The birds are singing.
• The flowers are blooming and  their sweet scents fill the air.

And it is WARM WARM WARM!!!

I cannot WAIT to go outside and explore.

I am pretty sure SPRING has FINALLY arrived.

Bye Bye Blues

I LOVES LOVES LOVES to go bye bye. This weekend had sunny warm weather that was just PERFECT for all kinds of activities. SO when Mommy said "Noodles! Do you wanna go bye bye?" I could hardly stand still long enough to get my halter and leash on!

Then we were OFF in the car, breeze filtering through the windows and ruffling my neck fur. It was so exhilarating.  We went here . . . and we went there . . . and we went EVERYWHERE! I could NOT keep the smile off my face.

We were maybe 10 minutes from home when Mommy looked at her clock and exclaimed loudly "I need to go to the grocery store!!"

Then she looked me straight in the eye (she was stopped at a light at the time) and said not-too-unkindly " we will have to stop by the house and drop you off Noodles."
