I am puzzling through what it is to BE A PUG. I mean, we all know PUGS command a special place on the PET HIERARCHY just by virtue of their special looks and unbelievable personalities. Cuteness aside, though, what does it really take to win the hearts of HUMANS.
This is what I came up with.
- A (smooshy) NOSE for NUZZLING
- A heart-shaped TONGUE for LICKING (kissing)
- An (wide) EYE for ORBING
- A (walrus) MUZZLE for SMILING
- A (cinnamon bun) CURLY TAIL for (human) MOOD-CHANGING
- An (bottomless) APPETITE for FUN and FOOD

You sure hit all the finer points of what being a pug is, Noodles. I love being a pug. -Love, Sid.
sounds like your parents picked the perfect dog then :)
yeah for pugs!
OK Noodles... butt I think Dachshunds are pretty special too. I'm just sayin.
Pugs are awesome for all the reasons you so astutely point out, Noodles! Most of the time I think we are actually separate from dogs and are in a class by ourselves!

Payton
Those are all the best points. Good job of reminding my mom. I got in trouble again this weekend.
Muah,
Minnie Moo
Many good points there... I'd also add a squishy belly that just demands a good tummy rub!! :)
Wow Noodles! Pugalicious sounds similar to Frenchilicious, BOL

at least I don't snore!

Well I love all my doggies, equally, but there is something about pugs. They are definitely summed up by multum en parvo, a lot in a little
Hi Noodles
I cannot even think of one thing that you left out.
You named them all!

Don't forget to small enough to fit on a lap for snuggling. And with multiples, you can warm a human's feet, knees and tummy when cuddling in the big bed.
All my friends, that are so lucky to have a pug (including me) say that pug is not a dog, pug is visitor from another planet, the LOVE planet :) you are from this planet too Noodles :) xo Gosia
Hi Noodles! Yes, what a great list! My mom's favourite is "a (walrus) muzzle for smiling". :)

P.S. Happy belated birthday to your mom!
P.P.S. Tim Horton's cups in the US are one size larger... so that medium cup my mom had is really a small in the US. For some reason this really throws my mom off. Haha.
