Wednesday Went Without Words

I DO NOT know what happened. Yes, it was Wordless Wednesday . . . but it appears A Bowl of Noodles went POSTLESS Wednesday! That is just Wednesday Wrong! Sorry for messing with eFURRYbody's day.

It just so happens I DID have stuff to discuss which never made it into the Blogosphere. I can't remember ANY of them today, though.

So on Sunday I went on a mini-adventure to a dog park. It was a warm day so my Mommys and their friends decided to go for FROZEN YOGURT and then take me to the dog park. We all piled in the PUGMOBILE (Mommy #1 says the car LOOKS like a pug, too) and headed to the FROZEN YOGURT shop. It was a short but HOT car ride and I was really panting by the time we got there. Okay, okay, I was panting BEFORE we left, I admit to upping the drama here.

We found some nice cool spots to sit outside the shop. I cooled down some as I sat by Mommy's feet. She even let me finish her froyo which was vanilla, tart and honey flavors. Now that we were all cooled off, we piled BACK into the PUGMOBILE for a short ride to the dog park. This is the dog park that I used to go to BEFORE we discovered the really nice one near my house. We hopped out of the car and headed over to the gate. There were NO SMALL dogs at all and only a couple of big dogs on the BIG-dog-side. We went over to the side with a lot of trees and found a spot in the shade. I forgot how small and grassless THAT dog park is. Even though we were in the shade I was having some trouble cooling down. Mommy even wet my tummy, head and paws down in an effort to make me more comfortable (Yes, Mommy, it worked).

Since there were no other dogs we all got bored pretty quickly. Not that I even play with other dogs (I am working on it) but I DO like to visit with other humans. So after a short while we left the dog park and went to the playground that the younger humans wanted to visit. That lasted all of 10 minutes. Turns out it was a lot hotter than any of us thought it would be.

We finally headed back home to a cool living room and some chilled water.

It was a good day despite being warm. And I loves loves LOVES me some adventures.

That froyo sounds worth the whole trip to me. That sounds great.

Ooh, froyo is yummy. Momma will sometimes share ice cream with me, but not often. It's ruff when it gets so hot out, though, isn't it? We've started putting off our evening walk until later in the day when it cools off a bit. I hate summer because I can't go to the dog park at all -- it's too hot whenever it's light out, and Momma doesn't want to go in the dark!
