That is American for Happy Chinese New Year. Today marks the first day of the Year of the Water Dragon.
I choose to celebrate my inner Chinese, as you all know PUGS are originally from China . . . as is Mommy #1. I am going to celebrate the RIGHT WAY with a little rice, a little chicken and a little PUGness.

Oh yes, chicken, rice, and pugness! It's a good thing for sure. I'm going to have to get my mom to help me celebrate too!

Awww Noodles, you look so super cute in that photo! I just wanna eat you up! I'm going to celebrate Chinese New Year with ... a bowl of noodles! I'm so proud of my Pug Chinese heritage, we used to be the chosen pet of great Chinese emperors, we used to sit in their big open sleeves! Still as pampered now as we were then! Happy Chinese New Year! Love, Licks and Pug Hugs from tour friend Frank x x x x x x x x

Happy Chinese New Year, Noodles! I hope I can still embrace my inner-Chinese with some venison treats (sadly, I can't partake of Chicken and Rice!).

Cant beat Pugness :)
Happy New Year to you and your Mommy #1! I like her she's very pretty and she gives good hugs and pets. Mom said she grew up near Chinatown in SF and loves the lunar new year! It's such a pretty time of the year with all the cherry blossoms in full bloom. If you make it to a pug Sunday, maybe we'll have to go and take a peak!
How can you go wrong with chicken, rice and pugness? Happy Chinese New Year, Noodles!
