Just Like That I Have a WHOLE New Routine!

As you know Mommy #1 graduated from High School on Wednesday. So now I have a whole new routine to my day! It is going to take some getting used to as I am generally up with the sun and spend my day "helping" Mommy #2 as she works. I have a special spot under her desk and everything. BUT NOW I will have to split my time between BOTH of my mommys.

This is going to require some real planning and plotting.

Four Years in the Making . . .Twenty-Five Years in the Making - Yesterday was PRETTY Big!

Last night my Mommy #1 graduated from high school. It seems like only yesterday that she graduated from elementary to middle school and here she is, on the cusp of her college years. She has worked so hard and the commitment totally paid off. Her grades are stellar and she got into all of the colleges she applied to (waitlisted for one).
I am very very very proud of my Mommy. I keep telling her so, too.
We are having a party on Saturday and close to 50 people will be attending. I don't know if they will all come at once. I plan to be on my best behavior since some of these people have never met me. Most have, though.

At the same time as my Mommy #1 was graduating, the San Jose Sharks were playing the St. Louis Blues in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals. If the Sharks could win, they would move on to the Stanley Cup finals for the first time in their 25 year history. In fact, up until this year they hadn't made it THIS FAR! So I stayed home from the graduation ceremonies to watch the game. It was exciting from the first puck drop. And guess what - THE SHARKS WON!!!! OmiPUG! The rest of the family got home in time to watch the last quarter and let me tell you, there was a LOT of celebrating in our home!!!!

With all this excitement around me you'd think I'd be a bundle of nerves, huh? Nope. This is what I am doing today and what I hope to do tomorrow while the rest of the household cleans and preps

The Song of My People

Noodles: Molly what the HAY?

I sing for my people
I sing for me
I sing for that stranger
Looking at me

Noodles: I wish she'd stop already

Little girl across the street
I sing for you
Man walking to his own beat
I sing for you

Noodles: Maybe no one will see me here

Hey you in the red car
Listen to me
I'm singing a song
That's just about me

Dress up for Whitley

I am joining Blogville and dressing up for sweet Whitley. She crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on May 5 and we are honoring her memory with fancy dress. As you know, I do this a lot.

So I rummaged through my closet for my BEST LOOKS and this is what I came up with.

For Whitley

It's a Whale of a Tale

Gather around children and let me tell you a tale of the Great Blue Whale that was seen right off the coast of MONTEREY. This is a rare sighting - it is unusual for these shy cetaceans to stay on the surface so long - plus they tend to hang out in deeper water. But this year is a special year all along the Pacific coastline, thanks to El Niño. Warmer water has meant an explosion in krill and anchovies and this is exactly what marine life like whales, dolphins, and seals eat. Lately the news has been filled with video of Orcas stalking and dining on seals, dolphins and baby whales. There has been video of dolphin pods racing through Monterey and Half Moon Bays. And last week there were a couple of PODS of humpback whales INSIDE the San Francisco Bay. . . on MY SIDE of the Golden Gate Bridge. This is rare rare RARE as Humpbacks are normally much further out to sea.
But I think NOTHING compares to the sight of a BLUE WHALE. It looks like there are two whales feeding BUT look again - it is ALL ONE whale.
Enjoy this video of the spectacular Blue Whale.
Happy Weekend everypuggy!

Thanks you gowhales.com and Noodle and Mochi's Mom for sharing this incredible video.

Just Call Me Fluffy

Can you see how Fluffy I am?

Two days ago Mommy said "Noodles you smell like pee." I looked at her like she was outta her human mind because (1) I am way past pee-episodes and (2) I smelled like a regular dog to me. I sniffed the AIR around me just to make sure. But she was busy so it was quickly forgotten.

Later that night I caught Mommy sniffing the Air around ME! "Noodles," she said while wrinkling her nose like a rabbit, "You smell YEASTY, like bread RISING." I do? I said back at her. . . and you know, I think she was kinda right this time cuz my tummy had been grumbling and singing about being HUNGRY. And I had just eaten. And I had been thinking of asking for some nice freshly baked bread. . . "Well this can't be a good thing," she said. "I'll make sure to give you a bath in the morning and see of we can stop what ever is brewing in those 3 layers of fur."

Fast forward to the next day (yesterday) and Mommy is stuck at her computer working until NEARLY DINNER time. I didn't dare look her in the eye for fear of triggering a BATH memory. I just was not in the mood, you know.

Well after dinner guess what? She remembered and called me to follow her upstairs to the BATH. I did it because I am a good puggy. Then she starts the water running and drops the shower head down to pug-LEVEL. We have one of those flexible showers that can be a head or hand shower. For cleaning PUGs, especially during a drought, it is prime. No need to fill a tub of water.

She thoroughly WETTED me with the nice warm water and then turned the water off. I thought I was done and started to do my GOOD DOGGY thing and climb out. "No you don't, little girl," Mommy said. "you still need soap." So she soaped me. . .  soaped me good. . . soaped me thoroughly and completely until every NOOK and CRANNY was dripping with thick white suds. Then she turned the water back on and rinsed me off until the water not only STOPPED looking black with dirt, but also stopped showing suds. And then she rinsed me once more.

Then she stopped the water again and told me to shake (she closed the shower door on me). FINALLY she let me jump out into the big fluffy towel she had waiting. She did what she could - at best she got the DRIPPING to stop. Then she SET LOOSE THE BEAST - me. I ran like a crazy PUG throughout the house upstairs and downstairs.

Sometime later I was dry but when I looked in the mirror to inspect my shiny COAT, I noticed something else. I was FLUFFY. Like. . .  Molly fluffy without the curl! I am thinking perhaps Mommy should have added CONDITIONER to the rinse?

Hopefully the wild fur is NOT here to stay. Until then, just call me FLUFFY.

Second Verse, the Same as the First - Only THIS Time for Dogs

The Chewy.com box referred to in Monday's post contained two kinds of foods - the afore-reviewed Cat Food (Now Fresh Senior formula) and a box of weird shaped containers of Natural Balance LID (more on that later). This was from the MAY NEWSLETTER that we get from Ms. Sydney each month. It is filled with wonderful choices of products to review and we spend MINUTES poring over them and choosing.

We had a hard time limiting ourselves to one item but Mommy insisted she cannot juggle too many reviews so we picked the LID. Why? Because the LID stands for Limited Ingredient Diet and is especially for (1) dogs with dietary restrictions; (2) dogs with allergies; and (3) picky Molly-type eaters. Sounded like a good challenge so we ACCEPTED it.

Because I am not too keen on fish (I will eat it but just not as excitedly as chicken) we chose the Chicken and Sweet Potato one. It sounded like a win-win to me. Here is what it contains straight from the horse's (in this case www.chewy.com) mouth:

Chicken, chicken broth, sweet potato canola oil

That's four but WHO'S COUNTING? Well. . . then there was a bunch of other things listed

guar gum, tricalcium phosphate, natural flavor, salt, calcium sulfate, potassium chloride, minerals (zinc glycine complex, iron glycine complex, copper glycine complex, manganese glycine complex, sodium selenite, potassium iodide), vitamins (vitamin e supplement, niacin supplement, thiamine mononitrate, d-calcium pantothenate, vitamin a supplement, riboflavin supplement, vitamin d3 supplement, pyridoxine hydrochloride, folic acid, biotin, beta-carotene, vitamin b12 supplement), choline chloride, carrageenan

Some of these are thickeners, some are minerals and vitamins and maybe one is a naturally occurring preservative (vitamin e acts as a natural preservative). So even though that is technically more than THREE INGREDIENTS, the truth is the bulk of this food is REAL MEAT PROTEIN and REAL SWEET POTATO. That is really really special.

The package arrived pretty close to dinner time so we got to try it RIGHT AWAY! I was happy dancing all over the kitchen and then Molly joined in and we got a CONGA LINE going. Sunshine was the last to join us but she completed the line and we danced and danced until our bowls were filled (that's a metaphor because our bowls are NEVER full! One-fourth of a cup does not fill any bowls big enough for our heads).

Then we got to FINALLY eat the Natural Balance LID Chicken and Sweet Potato. One tub was split THREE WAYS because we never eat just canned food. Why, you ask, was it split THREE ways when one of the THREE is a CAT? Simply because it is high protein and REAL MEAT. That means it is good for cats as well as dogs because CATS need higher protein than dogs. So when we get REAL MEAT, Mommy always includes Sunshine when doling out toppings. She's be a ROYAL pain in the butt, otherwise. Molly prefers soft food probably because her teeth are so week (a Maltese trait). I prefer a little CRUNCH, myself. The next time we tried the food, though. Mommy gave us our portion of Natural Balance LID alone and then gave us all our kibble. We thought we got an after dinner treat! That was exciting. You guessed it - we loved it just as much.

In summary, we'd like to tell the COURT that we loved the food. We all quickly ate the food. We all begged for MORE of the food. So this COUNSELOR concludes that SAID food is of fine quality and flavorful demeanor and is worthy of consideration of a FOUR PAWS UP times THREE.

*We were not paid for this review. That is not to imply that ANYONE is negligent in their accounts payable, that is. We did not ASK for nor were we given any moneys for this review. All of the opinions are our own without suggestion nor prompting from anyone save Mommys #1 and #2. We did receive a quantity of the product sufficient enough for us to taste, test and develop and opinion of it.

Feeling Frisky and by THAT I Don't Mean Friskies®

#Chewy.Com

Good day FURiends. It is I, Sunshine the Cat, here to fill you in on some FOOD I have recently tested. It came from our friends at Chewy.com, so we already can surmise that it is some pretty good STUFF.

Now Fresh Grain-Free Adult Recipe Dry Cat Food provides the special nutrients and proteins that cats of a mature nature, like myself, need. According to the Chewy.com website, NEW FRESH provides

  • Grain and gluten-free recipe
  • Balanced proteins and fats to promote an active lifestyle
  • Omega oils to promote skin and coat health
  • Pre and probiotics to support healthy digestion
  • Added taurine to support vision and heart function
  • Antioxidants to support increased immunity

This is all well and good but what does it mean ingredient-wise? Well the antioxidants can be found in berries, fruits and veggies such as peas, spinach, cranberries, pumpkin, blackberries, alfalfa sprouts, kelp, lentils and carrots. Antioxidants are important because they boost the body's natural immune system. It keeps me healthy and moving - two important things for an older feline such as myself.

The protein comes from 100% fresh turkey, salmon and duck - no byproducts or "meal" to fluff up the protein count without really adding to the nutrition of the food.

Finally, coconut and canola oils contribute Omega 3 and Omega 6 which are important to maintaining a healthy coat and strong joints.

But, FURiends, the proof of all this is in the food itself. Is it tasty so finicky ME won't reject it after 2 days? Is it easy to serve and easy to eat? Does it digest well (poop test, ahem)? Does it improve the overall appearance of the pet?

Mostly - DOES IT TASTE GOOD AND KEEP ME SATISFIED UNTIL MY NEXT MEAL?

Well, YES, it most certainly did and does. I love the texture of the small round kibble bits. They are easy to scoop out and eat (my patented method for eating). They stay sufficiently fresh over the course of my morning so that I do not HAVE to finish my meal in one sitting. I do admit I am downstairs at the stroke of 5pm for my evening meal, but not before as I have in the past. And according to the humans cleaning my facilities, it passes the poop test for whatever those silly humans are looking for! I don't GET that one at all.

I may still walk a little slower and I still don't jump as well as when I was a kitten, but I DO think it has helped loosen up the stiffness a little. And my FUR is amazing! I honestly look 5 years younger because the color and shine make my coat vibrant and healthy.

So if you are an older FELINE, I suggest you try the NOW FRESH senior formula. It is a quality product and will really contribute to your overall sense of well-being. I hear there is a WEIGHT MANAGEMENT formula as well for those of us (NOT me) who tend to the pudgy.

Click this link to BUY your bag of NOW FRESH today.

*Note: We were not paid for this review. We received free of charge a sufficient quantity of food to test the product. All opinions expressed in this review are ours and ours alone.

Crazy for Our Delivery Guy

We always greet our delivery guy with a very loud HELLO. Molly is usually the first to hear him coming and sounds the alarm. Then I chime in with my PUG BARK and we both head for the front door. By this time, Mommy is asking us politely to BE QUIET and to BACK-UP.

This routine is repeated A LOT at this house, thanks to Chewy.com.

This month we ACTUALLY got a peak at the DELIVERY GUY and were able to say our hellos ALMOST face to face. Mommy was able to get us behind the little gate before she opened the door. There was the DELIVERY GUY with a Chewy.com package for us. We said HELLO and he smiled and said HELLO back at us. We thought that was super cool so we said HELLO even louder.

Then he left. But not before he handed the box from CHEWY.COM over to us. Wasn't that sweet?

Inside of the box was all kinds of delicious goodness - one for Molly and Me and one for Sunshine the Cat. I think this is so special that CHEWY.com allows us to review both dog and cat FOOD/TREATS/TOYS/etc.

Molly and I chose Natural Balance L.I.D. Wet Dog Food Tubs because we like the idea of limited ingredients and HIGH PROTEIN.

Sunshine the Cat chose Now Fresh Grain Free Cat Food because it is formulated specifically for senior CATS. She is 13 now and this is a consideration.

We got our first taste of these fabulous foods the SAME EVENING as the package arrival. THAT is why we go crazy for the DELIVERY GUY. We know that we are in for some good eats when he arrives.

We will review these foods tomorrow and Wednesday. I have a pretty good idea of what I am going to say.

Late Getting Going

Hmmmmm. . . . I've been sitting here on the PILLOW Mommy #2 made for me. Just thinking about THIS and THAT. Nothing in particular, really. And it JUST dawned on me that I really had no IDEA about the time of DAY! Imagine my SHOCK when I learned MOST of the day had gone by me!

I think the pillow is a TIME SUCKER, that's what I think! It somehow wasted my whole day right out from UNDER me. I didn't really have anything planned for the day but I also didn't want to SQUANDER it, either.

The question NOW is - do I stay here on the TIME SUCKING pillow or do I get OFF and do something useful? But the pillow is soooooo very comfortable. And I really had no plans. . . other than to SIT HERE and think of WHAT to do. Make plans, as it were. And in a way that is just what I am doing.

Sitting here

On This

Planning and Plotting for the Coming Weekend

Here comes the Weekend
Here comes the Fun
But it WILL Depend
On If there is Sun

I don't Mind RAIN
It causes me no Pain
But sitting in a Sun Ray
Is just a nicer Kind of Day

But MAYBE if it rains and Pours
I'll have to stay indoors
Snuggled on my Mom's knee
This thought really pleases ME

Trifling Tuesday

More like TUCKED IN Tuesday

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

triflingthat trifles;

frivolous; shallow; fickle

having little value or importance; trivial

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I think this is the perfect word for today - Tuesday. Tuesday is just a MEH kind of day where the week is more than just starting but not really over. There are a lot of possibilities for good things to happen on a Tuesday, such as
  1. Taco Tuesday
  2. The MegaMillions lottery is tonight
  3. Tongue Out Tuesday
  4. Marvels Agents of SHIELD is on
  5. Monday is over
So really maybe Tuesday isn't so TRIFLING. . . NAH! It totally is - unless it's your birthday or something.

But the alliteration is nice.

Lucky Number Thirteen. . .

Saturday was CATURDAY at our house. It was the day we celebrated Sunshine the Cat's THIRTEENTH birthday. Can you believe how good she looks for being a geriatric pet? She really looks just like she did when she was THREE. She does have some issues - like her back hip is stiff and so she cannot jump as high as she used to. She uses a chair to get to her meal. Mommys serve it on the shoji screen cabinet because that way some DOG n PUG do not eat it for her.

She got all kinds of special treatment for her birthday. Molly and I let her sleep on any dog bed she chose and she chose ALL OF THEM. Whenever I headed to one, she would come quickly trotting from behind me to nab it for herself. I ended up napping outside on the patio because Sunshine the Cat is NOT allowed to go OUTSIDE.

She also got a special meal of all WET FOOD which none of us ever get. She totally played that up in our faces too - sitting on the shoji screen carefully licking her chops clean, meticulously licking her paws, repeatedly licking her bowl long after the food was gone. Oh - she was DIGGING it.

Overall, I am very proud of Sunshine for maintaining her health and happiness; because when all is said and done - those are the keys to a long life.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUNSHINE

That Was a Lesson in Neighborliness (Is That Even a Word?)

My Mommy #2 grew up in this neighborhood. It was a new development when her family moved here, and all of the houses had KIDS that all went to school together and played together. Plus the street ended at an orchard next to this house so it was like being on a court. They'd be outside playing until late. It was SAFE and fun. And the parents never really worried about their kids because the other parents were keeping watch as well. It was a very comfortable environment.

But times change. Kids grow and move away. Parents age and die. The orchard is torn down and the street now is a thoroughfare.

We don't KNOW many of our neighbors. Oh we know the ones over the back fence because they always share their fruit harvest with us. There is nothing like a big bucket of oranges to chase the winter blues away. We also know the people in the house to the right of us because they have been there since Mommy #2 and the Aunties were children. Actually, the dad was a child at the same time as my Mommy and then he moved away - then his folks moved away - then he moved back when he got married. And across the street was his aunt and uncle who Mommy had known for more than 30 YEARS. But the aunt died a couple of years ago and the uncle went to live with some of their kids and we no longer know the people living in the house. It has been a constant rotation since the aunt and uncle left.

But that is about it. In this DAY and age, it is rare to know many of your neighbors. No one really talks to each other because they are always RUSHING here and there. In fact, recently my Mommy was telling her friend that she didn't know what she would do in an emergency.

Well, yesterday she had the chance to find out. Mommy was multi-tasking: cooking dinner, collecting trash. answering work emails, and so on. That means not one thing had her FULL attention all the time. she was at a point where the soup needed to simmer so she decided to take out the garbage and put the containers at the curb for collection in the morning. So Mommy grabbed the ELEVENTY BILLION bags and containers and carried them ALL out to the side house. I don't know how she does it - it's a MOM thing, I think. Well as she put down the bags so she could put recyclables in the recycle container and trash in the trash bin, the door to the garage closed. Mommy gasped, tried the doorknob - LOCKED! Oh No! Normally that door needs to be slammed in order to close but this time is just gently shut. NORMALLY Mommy checks all of the locks as she goes through the doors so she does NOT get locked out. But this time she had her hands full - DUH!

Then Mommy did something she almost NEVER does - she panicked. She had food on the stove and two INCAPABLE OF HELPING dogs yapping inside the house. She had also left her phone on the table. She said some HBO words and then ran around the front to see if by some miracle she left the front door unlocked. She did NOT. To compound the problem, all of the windows have locks and blockers so no one can get in via a window. Even the glass patio doors have a block and cannot be shummied off the runner. She had NO WAY into the house. So in a complete panic by this time, she ran across the street (after looking both ways, of course) to a neighbor she DID NOT KNOW and rang the bell. When the man opened the door she explained who she was and what she had done and asked if she could use his phone to call one of my Aunties. HE DID NOT HESITATE! He went right inside and got his phone so she could use it. And he tried to make her calm down because he said if no one could come they would figure something out.

MOMMY did get a hold of my Auntie who could NOT get home in time but who reminded her that there was AGAIN a spare key in the secret hiding place because SHE had replaced it a month ago. In her panic Mommy had totally forgotten about the spare. So Mommy hung up the phone and explained to the neighbor that there was a spare key in a hiding place so she was good.

Then Mommy introduced herself to the neighbor and apologized for not doing so earlier (like YEARS ago when they moved in). She also thanked him for so readily helping her out in a crisis and that it made her feel good. She was embarrassed at doing something so DUMB - but she was also happy because she got to meet the neighbor AND find out that in a crisis he has her back.

Dear Captain America . . . by Noodles

Dear Captain America

On this eve of your new movie "The Avengers: Civil War" I am worried, worried, worried. You see, Captain America, I love you and everything you stand for. We must fight EVIL (okay, so. . . who exactly is this generic EVIL?) and protect our FURiends and family. We must preserve the American Way (is that the Democrats way, the Republicans way, or TRUMP'S way?) for ourselves and our posterity. You believe in always doing what is RIGHT. Yes, yes, Captain America! I totally side with that kind of RIGHT.

BUT

Iron Man wants the same thing - and maybe MORE. You see, Cap, Iron Man is simply looking at a different SIDE of RIGHT than you are. He is looking at the RIGHT that maybe stops Evil before it takes hold. He is looking at RIGHT that saves the most people and property as Evil is being destroyed. But in every sense, he is INTERESTED in doing the RIGHT thing.

SO

What is your (plural) BEEF about? And are you SURE the problem can't be solved by sitting down and cracking open a brew or TWO while chit-chatting like BUDS? Maybe slap some NACHOS on a plate to keep the hungry HATE down? I am pretty sure this is how 99 percent of the world problems get solved ANYHOW. Beer and Nachos - problem SOLVED!

AND

Boys! Know who your ENEMY is! It isn't your former teammate who is trying to do THE RIGHT THING. Black Widow has been your best friend, Cap. Are you going to turn your back on HER because she happens to think she can work with the SYSTEM and not against it?  And while we are talking about FRIENDS, what's this Bucky Barnes thing all about? I'm not FEELING it.

IN TRUTH

You ALL - Team Iron Man and Team Captain America can accomplish so much MORE by working together as a TEAM. It doesn't mean you have to L-O-V-E each other. . . you don't technically have to LIKE each other. . . you simply have to WORK together to a common goal - WHAT IS RIGHT.

ALSO

Please don't make me choose sides. It is too much for this little PUGGY brain to tackle. I simply CANNOT choose between the two sides. I will NOT. I love all of you Superheroes (even Deadpool). You make me feel HAPPY. You make me feel SAFE. I totally dig being happy and safe. Next to being FULL. I like that post-dinner FULL the most. But after that, I love being HAPPY. . . and safe.

Love your FURiend FORever, Noodles

Food and Non-Food and Earth Awareness

I am very into the EARTH. I live here and I EAT here. I want EARTH to be around for a long long time. I also want to be here and healthy for a long long time. There is a video circulating on Facebook and YouTube featuring Woody Harrelson - the actor. In this video (you can watch it below), he speaks of the importance of supporting companies who are ethical and of the importance of eating GOOD FOOD as opposed to the NON-FOOD sold as cheaper, fast food.

As you know, I am a HUGE advocate of food. Yes, I am fortunate that my Mommys feed me really good stuff which is not only HEALTHY for me but is also tasty. They study the ingredients to make sure I am eating real food and not additives. They check out the companies that make the foods I eat to make sure they are aware of their affect on the EARTH and change their ways accordingly.

It isn't easy or CHEAP to follow this path. But look at the consequences of NOT following this path -

  1. Malnutrition - this can take on many different appearances from the emaciated starved to the overall fine but not necessarily healthy
  2. High Health Costs - a result of eating non-foods or having poor quality foods
  3. Water/Air/Soil Pollution - as a result of unethical manufacturing processes many waterways are too polluted to sustain wildlife. Air quality in major manufacturing areas is poor to dangerous. And poor crop management is creating large areas of mineral-depleted soil making food production impossible
And these are just some of the problems.

But the truth is, I am a PUG (some call us dogs) and I am more concerned about the food I eat than any of the above conditions. So I want to tell you, PAY ATTENTION to what you are putting in your body. If the food is filled with grains, byproducts, additives and preservatives, it isn't doing your health a lot of good. And look at it this way. . . To achieve a reasonable level of nutrition from the cheaper non-foods, one has to eat an overwhelming larger portion per meal. The result is not only toxic overload from all of the added chemicals, but also obesity. Take it from a pug whose whole life is one of WEIGHT MANAGEMENT - the long range cost in vet bills and pet health is not worth the few bucks you saved in buying cheap kibble. The end cost is a lot higher than you think. High enough to make that $9.99/16 lb kibble (which you need to eat triple portions of just to fill satisfied) much less of a bargain than the food-rich $35/12 lb kibble.

I have also noticed that the companies that produce the food-rich high quality kibble are the very same companies that are most EARTH conscientious and friendly. So it is a win-win. Healthier pet, healthier Earth. Healthier everything.

So do as Woody says and stop supporting those companies that offer this cheaper substitute that in the long run is costing us all in QUALITY of LIFE.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner (I WISH I'D WON)

I had a super weekend - How about you? It was my Mommy #1's last high school performance for dance. It was bittersweet. Bitter because she is so grown up now and graduating from high school. This Fall she will be going away to college and although the college is in the Greater Bay Area, it still means she won't be home much. Sweet because NOW my weekends will include her since she won't have any more rehearsals on the weekends.

Mommy #1 was pretty much home all weekend but, as usual, she has errands like grocery shopping and house stuff to handle. Yesterday was a real PLUS because she first helped in the yard (prep for Grad Party) and then she watched the NBA and NHL playoff games featuring our local teams. We BLEED Royal Blue/Golden Yellow AND Teal.

Okay, enough frippery frappery - I have work to do. Later Gater
