Up to Something

I KNEW my Mommy was  UP TO SOMETHING just after the NEW YEAR.

First of all, she got me some of my FAVORITEST food in the WHOLE wide world - chicken. Then she mixed it with a little rice, YUM, and fresh carrots. THEN she added some kibble - she never does this so I should have been suspicious right then and THERE!

Finally she added this PEANUT BUTTER writing spelling out D-I-V-A.

AND that was my DINNER!!!!!!
 HEAVEN!!!!!

The next day SHE CUT MY RATIONS by A LOT!!!!!
Then she THREW OUT all snacks!
THEN she TOSSED the PEANUT BUTTER!

It appears this PHOTO (and the scale reading 17.8 pounds) has caused me to be on a, OH I CAN"T SAY IT. . . . . . d-i-e-t.
Does this outfit make me look FAT or PHAT?

Uh oh, diets are no good! We think that outfit makes you look phat, not fat. What is your mom thinking?!

Ha ha ha! We love your "phat" picture! And if 17 pounds makes you "fat" then I'm in big trouble at 22! Shhhhhh!

Mmmmm, that food looks soooooo gooooood...

Totally phat, babe! Remind your mom that pugs are substantial doggies with a compact but muscular physique. They said so on the recent Eukanuba National Dog Show on the teevee, and you know they're not allowed to lie on teevee. Pugs were the biggest, heaviest and sturdiest of all the toy breeds. So you're supposed to look the way you do: round and proud!
