Wednesday Went Missing Along With Mommy . . . BUT She Came Back

Mommy keeps using this photo even though I
TOLD her not too. . . sheesh

Wednesday started out like most days - until I GOT UP. Then it was all kinds of different. First of all, the kitchen was DARK and Aunt B was not in it making her lunch. THEN Cousin C was up but not dressing for school. What was going on? Then to confuse things MORE, Mommy got up, dressed, and LEFT as if SHE was going to the office. Her office is at home! What is going on? But there you have it. . .

SHE WAS GONE!

And Aunt B, Mommy's twin, was home in her place. And I mean ACTUALLY in her place - at the desk, at the table, knitting in her chair. It was totally and completely WEIRD. I was so confused so I did what I normally do when I am confused

Why yes, this photo was taken at Christmas
time - ahem,  Mommy!

I napped and dreamt of Mommy and HOPED she would return soon and my day-to-day routine would likewise return to normal. (Cue a sigh heard ROUND the WORLD)

It was a long long day - and I napped and napped with an occasional venture outside to enjoy the unseasonably warm day and to catch up with the neighborhood news.

Then, just when I had given up hope, there was Mommy home from her meeting. I was so happy to see her. She was home for about an hour and then - she had to leave for her PT nighttime job. Oh my!

She came home after what seemed like ANOTHER ETERNITY and this time she was home to stay. I begged and begged for her to put me on her lap so I could MAKE SURE she was not able to go anywhere else.

Stay here Mommy - This is where you belong
