It's been a bit of a BLUE week for us at Casa de Noodles. It happens. . . just not usually all at once. Thanks goodness or we'd never get out of bed.
It all started with the BLUE MOON on Wednesday. Now this was exciting. It is unusual to have a Blue Moon. It is unusual to have a Blood Moon. And it is MORE exciting to have a Lunar Eclipse during a Blue Blood Moon. But we had all three happen this year. I don't know what that means. I hope it eventually means good things.
Today, GROUNDHOG DAY, had a BLUE prediction. That ol' groundhog saw his shadow which means SIX MORE WEEKS OF WINTER. We are still waiting for Winter to start (supposed to be beach weather tomorrow)! So does that mean six weeks from NOW or six weeks from when we actually get WINTER weather? I am so confused. I am certainly hoping it is not the latter because that means it will (again) be cold and rainy as late as June.
Today my Mommy has a BLUE heart, as well. One of her best friends lost her father yesterday. This man was so special to My Mommy - like a surrogate FATHER to her. He was so strong and kind and wise. She felt grounded just knowing him. Right now she feels a little adrift and stunned as she never ever thought this man would be only a spirit. But he is in Heaven now. And while she takes some comfort in knowing he lives on in her, her sister, and his vast loving family, she is sad she cannot give him a hug and say hello.
I need to give her a lot of extra snuggles today so she can again find her HAPPY. She says she is afraid she has lost it again.
