Labor of Love

I love gardening and I like to help out where I can. As you all know, I have picked up apples, apricots and plums. I have also helped pick tomatoes. That is the end product. What I do most of the time is PREPARE the yard for planting.
Just the other day I was outside "HELPING" Auntie T. She was unable to work in the yard as she normally does because she was painting some vanity doors.
So I helped aerate her basil plants by digging holes to the side of them.
I thought I did a good job.
Guess T didn't agree.
Hmmmm . . . gotta think this through.

Oh Noodles. I'm positive you are the best helper ever in the garden. A hole digger?! That's amazing! I would say keep up the good work but it appears this isn't going well...Personally, I like to help by unrolling the toilet paper but to each their own :)

Oh yes,we love to drag the toilet paper all over the house when mama isn't looking! She doesn't seem to enjoy cleaning it up but we have a great time!!!

Mama blocked off our gardens so we can't get to the yummies... She's such a buzzkill!

Noodles you are such a helpful girl. I'm sorry your Auntie didn't see it that way. Doesn't she know pugs are the best gardeners in town?? Plus we're cheap...we work for treats.

Noodles you are oodles fun to work with! Gardening sounds super fun! What we do in the backyard is quite voluntary. Let's just say...our human won't be seeing grass for some while.

Noodles I wonder why she didn't like you aerating the basil....hmmmm we think it would have been a great help.

Apparently we are VERY helpful around the house too. Coco knocks the dish towel off of the oven handle (you know, to clean the floor with). I make sure to pre-treat any spot on the covers by licking it for 2 1/2 hours.
Sounds like you sure do have a green thumb. They should pay you in treats for your hard work!

Oh this happens to me all the times. I help mum in the garden and she gets mads and tells me I am making a mess by digging holes in the grass. PFT sometimes mum just doesn't appreciate good helps!
