Monster in the Machine

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Do not adjust your dial. What I am about to tell you is vital to life AS WE KNOW IT! I know this sounds fantastical but you must believe me . . .

There are MONSTERS in  washing machines!

I HEARD it! I SAW it make the machine shake! I SHUDDER to think of the HAVOC it will cause should it escape.

Oh DOG! I hope I am STRONG enough for this challenge!

I am doing what I can -

• I BARK for as long Mommy let me!
• I jump at the washing machine to let it know MY FURY
• I bare my TEETH (they look so cute in that window) to prove I am serious
• I GROWL deep in my little puggy chest to establish my TURF

There will be NO MONSTER invasion! NOT on NOODLES' watch.

Auntie B's Bootcamp Day Three

This is me at the beginning of our hike around Lake Chabot in the East Bay. Itsn't it a lovely place? Don't I look happy to be on this fabulous walk in this spectacularly beautiful place?

This is me AFTER the walk around Lake Chabot. I am pretty sure we walked around the whole lake. Actually it was so FAR it felt like we walked around the Pacific Ocean!!!! Hey! It is a big lake! And HOT! I am pretty sure it was somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 degrees F.

Sheesh!

CHLOE
This is how Chloe and I play. NOT. She is a little afraid of my overly enthusiastic cuteness. See Chloe has had it a little rough and is still trying to decide if she likes to play at all. I am trying to help her find her inner puppy again.
But I like Chloe and I hope someday we can be besties.

Riley
Riley and I bark, bark, bark at each other. We aren't mad at each other though. We are simply communicating. We have our moments.
He intimidates me a little because he is a lot taller than me and VERY energetic.

Rocky
Rocky and I have finally reached the point where we actually relate to each other. He is the quiet, low key one - I am the loud and bouncy one. For this last play date, I got the ball rolling (so to speak) when I grabbed his favorite toy and started running. Sure enough that got Rocky going as well. We had a lot of fun chasing each other.

Remember When

Remember when the SUN would shine

The BREEZE smelled sweet and so divine

The flowers bloomed and honey BEES buzzed

I mention this only becuz

The RAIN in back, the sky is bleak

I want my sunshine back this WEEK

Am I Worried?

Am I worried when it's GREEN, no I'm NOT
Am I worried when it Steams, no I'm NOT
Am I worried when it woggles, NO I'm Not
Am I worried when it wiggles, NO I'm Not
Am I worried cuz it tastes BAD, no I'm not
Am I worried when it looks SAD, no I'm not


But when MOMMY gets that gleam
Then things are not quite what they seem
Am I worried when she OFFERS?
NO! I get LOST!!!!!
