A Little Pawty Never Hurt AnyPUGGY - Noodles Turns Six

So like I thought, My Mommys planned a KILLER PAWTY for me on my SIXTH birthday. In case you forgot, it was Saturday, JULY 4! Since I am a PUG PRINCESS, the pawty HAD to have a Princess theme to it.

Mommys #1 and #2 worked so hard. They even turned the PAWTY room into a Castle COMPLETE with drawbridge. When the guests arrived, they had to walk across the drawbridge to get to the PAWTY room.

FURiends at this even included Leah, Hazel and Mabel, Tiffy, Sunshine, and Molly. Little did they know of the FUN awaiting for them.

First of all, we all posed on the drawbriddge. It was a cool place to CONGREGATE. Then we went into the main dining hall for the first PAWTY GAME - EATING!

Before ANYPUGGY could sit down, they had to put on a tiara and, in some cases, a hat or wings. And they could have done all three if they really wanted to. It's all cool with me.

Here are the party-goers sitting at their special table.

Princess Tiffy, Princess Sunshine, Princess Mabel, Princess Molly,
Princess Hazel, Princess Leah (note, Leah is already sucking down the champagne)

Notice I am not with the other princesses. As PRINCESS OF HONOR, I had my own special THRONE.

I also had a special crown made just for me - Princess Noodles the Pug. Princess Leah brought me a slice of delicious ENGLISH BIRTHDAY CAKE. It was yummy and a bit different from an AMERICAN BIRTHDAY CAKE.

After we all ate some delicious BIRTHDAY FOOD including but not limited to PIZZA, BUFFALO WINGS, WALLY MELON, and selections from the KIBBLE BAR, we started our first big activity.

Kibble Bar

We all lined up near the balloon CASTLE all properly (Leah still holding on to her champagne glass, I might add).

Then we were escorted in to the castle where a camera was set up. There we had our official PRINCESS photos taken. Everyone looked so beautiful.

It was getting late so we had to wrap things up. We went outside for the GRAND FINALE of my Sixth birthday pawty.

All too soon my FURiends had to leave. But I must say, it was a wonderful and very proper birthday PAWty.

In the Meantime. . . We've Got Soccer!!!!!

I interrupt the regularly scheduled program to bring you. . .

U.S. Womens Soccer!!!

OH MY PUG!  Was that an exciting game or what? I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! It seemed like a slamdunk than the suddenly - the Japanese women made it a real game.

What I loved MOST about this particular Womens World Cup is it was largely played in PRIME TIME and on MAJOR CHANNELS. Almost the same attention the men get when they are playing in the World Cup. It is about time. These are women who have been there and DONE THAT before. They are talented and exciting to watch. The fact that this was a U.S. team only made it that much sweeter.

Congratulations to all of the women on the team. It was a pleasure to watch you play. It is an honor to have you represent the UNITED STATES of AMERICA.

Friday Frippery

The truth of the matter is - I don't have a lot of fun stuff to talk about today. It is an unusual day in that EVERYONE is home for the holiday weekend. Maybe I shouldn't say HOME exactly. Let me put it this way - no one went to work, camp or school today. But that doesn't mean they will be home. In fact, even I am going out for a bit - today I get my stitches out! Finally I can bid PERMANENT farewell to that CONE!

I am going to challenge Molly to a watermelon contest this weekend. That is what one does on the Fourth of July - right? It just so happens that I LOVES wally melon and Molly. . . well not so much. I guess in retrospect it won't be much of a contest, huh?

My Mommys have been a bit secretive the past couple of days. I think it has something to do with tomorrow and my BIRTHDAY! Maybe I will get that PAWty afterall? I sure hope so and I hope all of my FURiends can attend. I will be sure to let you all know on Monday.

IF YOU WANT TO COME TO MY PAWTY -
send me a pawty picture of you at noodlesthepugATaolDOTcom. It's gonna be a rockin' fun time. Make sure you do so by Midnight tonight. Otherwise the pawty will be over before you get there,

APP So Lutely

The Background Info

I live in Silicon Valley. Everywhere you turn there is a new tech company sprouting up.The latest impetus for these start-ups is the APP.

An APP - or application software if you are an old-timer - makes a computer do something for a user and a Mobile App makes your smartphone, iPad, or other mobile device do something for a user.

The Idea Info

So I was sitting in a ray of sunlight the other day, tummy growling for food, when a thought popped into my head - Why not tap into the collective knowledge in Silicon Valley and develop a PUG APP?

What would this PUG APP do? Well, I am thinking along the lines of an APP that tells the HUMOM'S smartphone WHEN the PUG of her heart is HUNGRY. And, said APP would then prompt the HUmom to feed this PUG. WITHOUT looking at the CLOCK to determine when feeding time should land.

Why is this important? Simply put, what PUG is hungry ONLY 2 times a day and 12 hours apart? We need to EAT when our tummies say to eat NOT when the arbitrary feeding time comes around. And I am pretty sure that given a prompt, MY Mommy would automatically feed me. She is very concerned for my comfort and well being and NOT that of the clock.

The Action Info

I am going to GOOGLE how to create an APP right now! I mean - look at all the APPS out there right now. . . how hard can it be?
