You KNOW I'm Happy when my tail curls like THIS |
As you all know, My Mommy #2 went away last week. She was gone Wednesday to Saturday - the longest saddest time of my SPRING. But she was gone for a good reason - she went with Auntie D on a trip to Seattle just to check it out.
They actually did not stay in Seattle - nor did they spend much time in Seattle proper. Instead they stayed on and explored Bainbridge Island
I put lines on the map to show where they went over the 2.5 days they were there. It's a lot of territory. And the first afternoon, Mommy took the ferry to SEATTLE by HERSELF to visit some good, good, good friends of hers from work. They both moved a number of years ago but she still keeps in touch with them. She misses them a lot. So she met them for dinner and to chat, chat, chat. She said it was so wonderful.
The weather was very very nice while they were there and did not rain at all. In fact, they were surprised at how much sunshine there was. Mommy said she loved the mornings best because the world is mostly quiet (occasional boat horns) and all she heard were birds chirping and water lapping the shore.
Before they knew it, it was time to head back to home. So they boarded the ferry WITH THE CAR (wow) and headed back to SeaTac - the airport. They had a great flight home thanks to Captain Mark and Co-Captain Tom. She said they seemed trustworthy.
I was so happy to see mom that she said I was like

Glad your mommy made it home. We don't like it when our mom goes away either
