TGIF! and Stuff

I have absolutely no reason to publish this photo but to torture Sunshine the Cat. She likes to pass herself off as super sophisticated when in reality she is kinda nerdy.

So it is finally FRIDAY and that opens a whole world of possibilities. I do hope I get some time with BOTH of my Mommys although I know they are gonna be flitting here and there. That is what Summer is all about. It is not like Winter where we stay indoors and snuggle a lot.

I started off my day quite benignly enough with a call to my people (barking) from the backyard, followed by a tasty meal. Then I sat in my CHEWY BOX BED and pondered life.

Then I HELPED Mommy #2 make her iced coffee and nachos (for breakfast??? So wrong) and made sure it ALL stayed on the plate while she walked to the television room. Once I was sure she was safely seated, I sat on her feet to keep her safe and warm.

When she moved to to office, SO DID I!. Right now, as she types this post, I am SAWING LOGS in my office BED. It is a tough job but someone's gotta do it.

I think this will conclude the excitement for my day. Anything else that goes on is a mystery waiting to unfold.

While I have you here, I want to give a HEALING shout-out to my BFF Princess Leah. She is feeling a little under the weather this week. She is better today but not yet back to her lovely perky self. So I am sending out GOOD VIBRATIONS to you, Leah! Feel better soon.

How does a house cat become a TIGER? Well it takes many things, for sure. Probably the most important way a house cat becomes a TIGER is by EATING the right food. This is what Sunshine the Cat set out to do THREE weeks ago when she asked Chewy.com to try Tiny Tiger Chicken Recipe Grain-free Pate Canned Cat Food. And I have to say, she has certainly taken this mission to heart and come out of it WELL ON HER WAY to being a FULL BLOWN tiger and not just a Tiny Tiger. Not size-wise, of course. That would be along the lines of Steve Rogers becoming Captain America - and THAT would require a secret serum, not just good-for-you food.

No, I am referring to her VIM, VIGOR and VITALITY which has increased to TIGER SIZE since eating Tiny Tiger Chicken Recipe Grain-free Pate. Keep in mind that Sunshine is a 16 year old CAT! And she is now running around Casa de Noodles like she is a KITTEN! She even jumped ON THE COUNTER and ate my BREAKFAST! That was totally unacceptable behavior, granted, but nonetheless quite a feat for a SENIOR CAT.

Leaping Into a NEW 30 Day Challenge From Chewy.com

We received an email from Ms. Sydney at Chewy.com asking if we would be interested in doing a 30 day challenge for Holistic Blend Dog and Cat food.
We thought about it for . . . like . . . 30 seconds and said OKAY. But Mommy intervened and said she would have to look this food up to decide because BASICALLY she does not want to feed us JUNK. What she found out was Holistic Blend Dog and Cat foods are made with real MEAT not byproducts. Every nugget contains Whole Brown Rice, Hulless Barley, Wild Salmon Meal, Whole Oats, Carrots, Potato ,Rosemary, Garlic, Kelp and Tomato. This is all good stuff!!! Real food stuff, not food-like stuff.
