This is Dedicated to the One I Love - Corbin

Sorry for being so melodramatic today. But this weekend I lost one of my very best FURiends here in Blogville, Corbin, and I am quite sad about it.

This is dedicated to the Corbin I love

Corbin and I were FURiends pretty much from the beginning of my Blog. That was when we were just pups, way back in 2010. I was impressed by his rugged good looks which was tempered by his sweet disposition. This was new territory for me as I had no experience with pit bulls - other than what I saw on the news (which was never good).

But through Corbin's blog and the main PITTIE himself, I learned to love this much maligned breed. Now I know that and in truth they are loyal, gentle and sweet dogs. I see Pitties in a whole new light.

We even went on a DREAM DATE to Hong Kong Disney back in 2011. Good times. . . great memories.

What I will always remember about Corbin is his dedication to educating others about Pit Bulls (Not the rapper) and pit bull/dog rescue. 

I have so much I want to say about Corbin but I find myself overwhelmed by the task. There is just so much TO SAY about this wonderful pittie. . . my FURiend. . . that I am struggling to put it all into words.

I will miss him so much. Run Free Corbin.

It's In the Mail

The mailwoman came by on Friday. I barked a little at her like I usually do - just a simple HELLO and you're doing a GREAT job, you know.
She left a lot of mail for the humans in the mailbox, like usual.

BUT NOT LIKE USUAL EXCEPT AT CHRISTMAS TIME 

She left a box for me!!!

It was my PRIZE from Corbin at Oh! Corbin!!! Corbin and his foster sister Sophie (she has since found her forever home, Yay!) had a contest and the prize was a couple of coupons for FROSTY PAWS and a toy from FP! Well, I definitely wanted to win THAT and so I entered. Surprise, Surprise!!! I was one of the winners!!!  It was so fun to open the box and see the prizes BEST OF ALL was the picture of HANDSOME Corbin and CUTE Sophie. I will cherish that photo always.

I will let you in on a little secret: My mommy pins pictures of my Blogville FURiends on my pen so I can see them all day.

If you haven't had FROSTY PAWS then I wholeheartedly recommend that you do. I am looking forward to trying the PEANUT BUTTER one (I have tried the Vanilla - YUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMY!!!).

HAPPY THOUGHT OF THE DAY: Winning Stuff! There is nothing better than winning stuff!!! Well, maybe playing the game to win is super fun. . . . but winning is fun. . .

My FURiend Corbin and his current foster sister Sophie had a contest this past week. I loves loves loves to enter CONTESTS because it is fun. I like to have CONTESTS too because that is fun as well. So I followed the rules of the contest and entered for a prize. GUESS WHAT!!! I was one of the winners! I am so excited

It was for Frosty Paws ice cream.  If you don't know what Frosty Paws is, then you absolutely need to try it. I was lucky enough to get some as a gift from Sandy Claws.

I can't wait . . . I can't wait.

I am currently putting together photos from my HUGE adventure over this last weekend. Molly and I went to a HUGE Pug meet! That is all I am going to say about it right now because I do not want to spoil the story. You will understand when I tell it, trust me.

So there you have it. . . the PAWsomeNESS of PRIZES.

HAPPY THOUGHT OF THE DAY: You guessed it - PRIZES. It really makes me happy when I win a contest and get a cool prize. Often it is something I would not normally get for myself.

A Nice Surprise

Friday, just before I left for my BIG TRIP, I received some MAIL! It was a package. Since I was pretty sure I had not ordered anything from AMAZON recently, it was a complete and utter SURPRISE package.

It was from my buddy CORBIN! It was a prize for PAWticipating in his birthday PITTY POST PAWTY!

Isn't that the COOLEST??? And there is a picture of Corbin. I think he is MOST HANDSOME. I was allowed to play with my new toys until we left for our ROAD TRIP. I was GOOD and EXHAUSTED for the long drive.

I just asked Professor Doofensmirchtz from Phineas and Ferb to come up with some sort of Get-Well-Inator to help Corbin quickly recover.

I figured it couldn't hurt.
