Noodles The Pug - Out for a SPIN

The other day, I was feeling a bit, I dunno, restless. No one was WILLING to indulge me with a road trip so I sorta kinda took it upon myself to take PUGSLEY out for a spin. Noodles, you are thinking. You can drive? I beseech you - what do YOU think?

Pugsley is my Mommys' car. It is 18 years old - technically 19 years old since "new" car models come out mid year. In any case, Pugsley is a gold CRV and my Mommys have always thought it was the pug of automobiles. Hence the name.

I am very good at driving, if you must know. I know to keep distractions . . . to . . . a . . . .a . . . .a. . . . OH! Sorry. I was distracted by that person over there dropping their lunch. I could help them with that, I could. BUT as I was saying. GOOD driving requires minimal distractions. This was a rainy day so the roads were a little slick and visibility low. 

SNICKER, Snicker - you totally caught me. I was NOT AT ALL driving alone. But, as you can tell, I AM a very good secondary driver.

OH! Christmas Tree!

This is Mommy #1's at University Christmas Tree. She likes it because it is simple and YET it has a sort of elegance about it.

I'd like to say I had a hand (PAW, puh-leez) in decorating it - but I didn't. This masterpiece is 100 PERcent Mommy #1's crafting.

I was thinking hard about the meaning of this minuscule tree and how it related to my world. . . . NAH! I was totally wondering WHERE my treat for posing pretty was.

Nonetheless, I really like this tree and am so glad that Mommy #2 has a tree to liven up her suite during finals.

I Heard There Was A MOUSE Involved

It turns out CORONADO was not the ONLY place the 'rents visited on their sojourn SOUTH.

I heard there was a M-O-U-S-E involved.

I heard there was SNACKIES involved.

I heard there were EARS involved.

What SOMEONE Not Me Did For Thanksgiving

My two Mommys left me for a WHOLE week at Thanksgiving and ventured south to San Diego. It was beautiful for the first FOUR days they were there. BUT then the rain I was suffering with while they were gone traveled south and made their Thanksgiving a little WET.

Mommy said it was okay because they still had SUNSETS like this

And walks along the beach with sand like this

But they said they missed me so much and wished I could have joined them on this trip. They KNOW I love the beach so much. But it is against the rules to have a dog in the lodge so they just didn't take me.

I stayed home with Aunt T. She gets lonely with just Molly and Sunshine to keep her company.

Everypuggy KNOWS there is no better cuddler than a PUG.

The Holidays Snuck Up On Me

Sometime in Mid-November, I snuggled in my nest (pictured here) with my LAMBIE (also pictured here) and took a nap. It was a good nap, a solid nap.

BUT WHEN I WOKE UP, I discovered THE HOLIDAYS were already here!

And I am not ready. No. . . No . . . No . . .

I have CRAFTING to do.

Lots of holiday BAKING to do and for that I need the helps of some THUMBS, a-hem . . .

But first. . . this PUG is gonna take a NAP. Wake me up in time for Kris Kringle Time.

On Bended Knees

Hi EveryPUGGY. It is I - Noodles the Pug in the FURS. Well, not really in the FURS because this is a blog post and NOT snout to snout, as it were. But it is REALLY me and not a DOPPELGANGER or something.

It has been sooooooo long since I have been able to post something for your all. I have missed you all so very much. I hope you miss me too, and aren't just mad at me or no longer interested.

You see - it is that DANG JOB of my Mommy's. Yes, I said D-A-N-G! Because I am piddle peeved that it commands so much of her time away from me. And not only that, she is so busy at work that she has no TIME for the internets and stuff. Then she leaves there AND GOES TO WORK AGAIN so that I only see her an hour or two before bed time.

But I am gonna try and be a better BLOGGER because I gotta say that I LOVE BLOGVILLE and all of its inhabitants - you all are my FURiends and you mean so much to me. I am gonna try very hard - so don't get mad if sometimes I just go MIA again. And if you are mad at me now, well understand that I am trying.
