I had the BEST BLOGIVERSARY in the HISTORY of BLOGVILLE! Thanks to all who helped me celebrate. I am just gonna rest a little while longer and then get back to ORCHESTRATING the finals of the Noodles Mad Lib contest. The entries were all so good I am tempted to present EVFURRYone with the WIN. But that will cost Mommy a GAZILLION greenpapers and that won't do. Sooooooooooooooo

I have two Mommys who really really LOVE me

Home ALONE!?!

Ummmm . . . SIGH . . .
Hi everyone. I am so PERTURBED today (still). My Mommys - BOTH of MY MOMMYS went away this weekend WITHOUT me! And I couldn't even go to Auntie B's house because Mommy #2 went somewhere WITH Auntie B. What was poor little ol me gonna do? I was so LONELY!!!!
SIGH . . .
Okay, I wasn't ALONE. I had Auntie's T and B watching over me and Cousins E and C to play with me and (try) to cuddle me. But it is NOT THE SAME as having my Mommys around.
When they came home I COULD NOT be out of their sights for ONE MINUTE! I certainly did not want to be ABANDONED like that again!
HHHAAARRRRRRUUUMMMMPPPPHHHHH!
I am so peeved I feel like piddling on the carpet by their bedroom door! But I won't because I am a good doggie and don't want to give them a reason to ABANDON me again!

On a brighter note . . .
On JUNE 29 I will be celebrating my 1 year ANNIVERSARY as a pet BLOGGER. I am soooo excited! I am thinking of having a drawing for a special prize so stay tuned for details.

Eye on the Prize

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
I am so tired I cannot move a muscle from this bed.
I received my prize from Anakin Man yesterday.
The mailperson had barely left the porch when I tore into the package and retrieved my prize for HONORABLE MENTION from Anakin's caption contest. It was a lot of fun to think of a caption for his picture.
But not as much fun as playing with the PRIZE!

Someone wake me for dinner. I need to  . . . YAWN . . . nap again.

Do I GOTTA Have FURiends?

This is a picture of my furiend Riley. He intimidates me some so we bark, bark, bark at each other and have not reached a place where we can play. But we are trying and overall I do like Riley. He is just bigger than me and kind of excitable.

Kinda like my Mommy #1's friend's dog Louie. Louie is about the same size as Riley but TEN TIMES more excitable. Really!!!! I have seen him jump as high as the TOP of their screen door. Whoa! Anyhow, I was visiting their house yesterday, getting some lovin' (and smoked gouda) from the daddy when the next thing we all knew, Louie was IN THE HOUSE and totally had my butt IN HIS MOUTH!!!!! Wha'????? He didn't bite me and he wasn't gonna eat me . . . but he had my cute lil pug butt in his mouth before anyone could react! I was a little scared by it and CLUNG to Mommy's shoulder when she picked me up. But I wasn't hurt at all.

All I was trying to do is be furiends.

Before this even happened, though, we had gone to the park.My usual park with my usual ducks, pigeons, and geese. I was having fun chasing birds and trotting along the paths. That is - until my Mommy spotted some friends and their dog - Callie.

Callie is a poodle.

A vocal poodle (she is 9 mos old).

She scared me to pieces. I was doing my SCREAMING bark which I reserve for really scary things like SHADOWS and DOORBELLS!

I really really really wanted to be furiends with her too. . . but she barked so loud. . .  and she lunged at me. I was CLINGING to Mommy #2 and burying my cute lil PUG NOSE in her shoulder. SAVE ME MOMMY!

These adventures gave me NIGHTMARES - all night - visions like THIS

Monster in the Machine

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Do not adjust your dial. What I am about to tell you is vital to life AS WE KNOW IT! I know this sounds fantastical but you must believe me . . .

There are MONSTERS in  washing machines!

I HEARD it! I SAW it make the machine shake! I SHUDDER to think of the HAVOC it will cause should it escape.

Oh DOG! I hope I am STRONG enough for this challenge!

I am doing what I can -

• I BARK for as long Mommy let me!
• I jump at the washing machine to let it know MY FURY
• I bare my TEETH (they look so cute in that window) to prove I am serious
• I GROWL deep in my little puggy chest to establish my TURF

There will be NO MONSTER invasion! NOT on NOODLES' watch.

Auntie B's Bootcamp Day Three

This is me at the beginning of our hike around Lake Chabot in the East Bay. Itsn't it a lovely place? Don't I look happy to be on this fabulous walk in this spectacularly beautiful place?

This is me AFTER the walk around Lake Chabot. I am pretty sure we walked around the whole lake. Actually it was so FAR it felt like we walked around the Pacific Ocean!!!! Hey! It is a big lake! And HOT! I am pretty sure it was somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 degrees F.

Sheesh!

CHLOE
This is how Chloe and I play. NOT. She is a little afraid of my overly enthusiastic cuteness. See Chloe has had it a little rough and is still trying to decide if she likes to play at all. I am trying to help her find her inner puppy again.
But I like Chloe and I hope someday we can be besties.

Riley
Riley and I bark, bark, bark at each other. We aren't mad at each other though. We are simply communicating. We have our moments.
He intimidates me a little because he is a lot taller than me and VERY energetic.

Rocky
Rocky and I have finally reached the point where we actually relate to each other. He is the quiet, low key one - I am the loud and bouncy one. For this last play date, I got the ball rolling (so to speak) when I grabbed his favorite toy and started running. Sure enough that got Rocky going as well. We had a lot of fun chasing each other.

Remember When

The BREEZE smelled sweet and so divine

The flowers bloomed and honey BEES buzzed

I mention this only becuz

The RAIN in back, the sky is bleak

I want my sunshine back this WEEK

Am I Worried?
