End of Day Post is Better Than None

Have you ever seen such a perfect pout?

Somepuggy, who shall remain nameless (Mommy #2), decided she was TOO BUSY to help with my BLOG today. As if! Doesn't she know it is A-NUMBER ONE-MOST important thing on her daily PLATE? The world simply does not turn without a daily A Bowl of Noodles.

Am I Right?

So aside from THAT drama, life was a little more casual today at Casa de Noodles. The construction guys putting in the new floor and stuff did not come so Moose was not freaked out and Molly was not barking non-stop. Me? I'm chill. Gimme an ear skritch or two and I am golden.

So this is the view of Mommy's office today

Isn't that hilarious? We each have to be near the office and Mommy even though there are two OTHER beds on the other side of the room. And Mommy is oblivious because she is working away. So there you go.

Moose is chill now. He trots outside with us to do our bidness, tail wagging. We will see what happens tomorrow when THIS goes down

YES! Lulu is joining the menagerie for a week beginning tomorrow. This is gonna be FUN.

One Last BIRTHDAY Post and Then I'll . . .

Yesterday was the day AFTER my 9th birthday but that didn't mean the FUN ended. Nope. The FedEx guy made sure of that. He delivered THREE Chewy.com boxes to me. One was JUST FOR ME and I had NOT even ordered it. It was a complete surprise.

So Mommy took me to the front porch where I could open the box without Molly & Moose taking over. They will, you know. They are young and spirited and just KOOKOO enough to make package opening a chore. I opened the CHEWY.COM box and this is what was in it - a gift box that said HAPPY BIRTHDAY on it. Ms Natalie and Ms Kristin has send me a BIRTHDAY present!

So I opened the box and this is what was in it . . . a nearly indestructible red ball, a birthday hat, a BIG slice of birthday cake fluffy toy, and three FOODIBLES. One of the foodibles looks and SMELLS like birthday cake so I am thinking it might TASTE like one too.

Look at all this LOOT. I am gonna really really enjoy playing and eating ALL OF THIS.

On the Moose front, he is totally feeling at home now. He is happy to see everyone and his eating is good. He goes outside to potty like a good boy and really seems to enjoy just hanging with the girls.

He might be said to be a little TOO COMFORTABLE. . . he has taken to stealing Aunt B's slippers which are ALMOST as big as he is.

Mommy thinks Moose is the CUTEST thing. She says this a lot. And one of the reasons is his resemblance to a certain STAR WARS creature - Jabba the Hutt's companion. She does not know if he has a name or what. But certainly he is a memorable character.

Aside from the mean look on the critter's face, can you see it? This is especially true when Moose moves his head side to side really fast.

Guess who is visiting us this SUMMER? It's Moose. You might recall a while back when we had our FURiend Pablo and his new brother Moose over. That was only for a week. This time it is just Moose and he is here for FIVE WHOLE WEEKS! Isn't that exciting? Moose's family went to France and they took Pablo. Pablo has been to FRANCE 8 times in his 8 years, so he really knows how to travel and what to expect. Moose, on the other hand, barely tolerates car trips much less plane rides. So Mommy #2 told his mommy Auntie L that we'd love to have him stay with us. He will get all the attention he can ask for and a fair amount of treats. So Auntie L said SURE.

Moose was so confused yesterday when he came. First of all, he knew something was up from all of the to-doing at his house. Suitcases were out and people were stressed. Then Mommy arrived and he was really confused because usually she and Auntie L just go to the backyard and drink coffee. THEN everybody AND the suitcases AND the 2 dogs piled into the car. This was very unusual. It got worse for Moose. Mommy pulled up to this BIG building with a lot of people wandering in and out. Then the humans all got out, even Mommy and she took the suitcases out of the car. Then Pablo was taken out of the car but not Moose. He was getting upset and started to yip a little. Mommy got back into the car after she said her goodbyes, and she and Moose took off leaving Moose's family at the airport. Moose yipped and whined a little but then quickly settled down in his bed (on the back seat floor). He was good all the way home, according to Mommy.

He was a little upset all the rest of the day and insisted on sitting by the front door. He was sure his humans would walk in any minute now. He was okay friendly with everyone but his tail was down indicating he was unhappy. BUT nonetheless, he was a good boy. No inside accidents so far and he ate his dinner like a good boy. Today is a whole 'nother story. He is happy looking and his tail is up and wagging. He is still insisting on sitting by the door but he is clearly more comfortable than he was yesterday. I think by the end of this week he will be handling it all so much better and be a happier puppy. NOT that he won't still miss his family; but at least he will be used to OUR routine and know we love him a lot.
